"QUR," 20 x 30 x 71 inches, two transparent paintings on glass 15 X 17.75 inches, and one Fresnel lens 16" x 20", 1987.
The paintings are two inches apart and the lens is ten inches from the paintings. When the paintings face the light ( side A ) and the lens is in the shadow of that light ( side B ) a three dimensionality is achieved. The visual elements in this dimensional space are kinetically active in relationship to the viewer's position before them.
